In March 2006, the National Regional Coordinator training workshop was held in Ottawa, ON. This 2-day event brought together volunteers from across the country in order to develop relationships, learn more about Sport-in-a-Box and prepare to implement the programme in their respective regions.
In April 2006, the six BC Regional Coordinators gathered for a 2-day training workshop in Vancouver, BC. The weekend was a resounding success as everyone had a chance to connect with one another, learn more about Sport-in-a-Boxand share information about different regions across BC.
In May 2006 Sport-in-a-Boxheld a Regional Coordinator training workshop in Montreal. This intimate training provided opportunities for sharing and exchanging, all with a little French flavour!
