Patrick Anderson

Patrick Anderson was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on August 22, 1979.  Patrick started playing wheelchair basketball as a very talented junior player in 1990.  He handled himself as if he were a veteran and completely dominated his much older and seasoned opponents.

A man who doesn't just wait for things to happen, Patrick is proactive and makes them happen.  After High School he received a wheelchair basketball scholarship in the United States at the University of Illinois.  He has played on the National Team since 1998 and is coached by Mike Frogley.  He is arguably the best player in the world.

Patrick is a great role model and fabulous ambassador for the sport.  He spent the last year playing in Australia and Germany.
